Abbey Cars back room team consists of experienced, committed staff that are dedicated to making the customer’s journey an easy, hassle free experience. At Abbey we believe that it is of the utmost importance that we communicate with our clients and that they can book their journeys, trace their vehicles easily and with the minimum of fuss.

To this end we have state of the art booking systems that enable us to track our vehicles, amend journey details and despatch the closest vehicle to the pick up point thus reducing waiting times.

Our telephone operators receive rigorous training and induction and are chosen on the basis of their telephone manner, their communication skills and their knowledge of the industry, London and IT. We also have operators that speak a variety of languages for overseas clients. Current languages include French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

We really do believe that one of the keys to our long established services are the combined efforts of our committed, knowledgeable drivers and our friendly, experienced back room staff. This offers our clients a 5 star service through out the Abbey Experience.

All our vehicles are fitted with GPS which stands for Global Positioning System.

Definition: Global positioning system. A system of satellites and receiving devices used to compute positions on the Earth.

Basically GPS is used by Abbey for navigation and tracking purposes. GPS enables the control team to keep track of our vehicles at all times and accurately judge ETA’s and journey times. It also enables us to match the nearest driver to each and every pick up address thus decreasing waiting time for our clients. All our vehicles are also fitted with satellite navigation which when combined with each drivers extensive topographical knowledge ensures that each and every client reaches their destination quickly, safely and without fuss.
